The Sanctuary
Do you feel this pain?
- You’re juggling so much, your focus goes to whatever shouts loudest, not necessarily what matters most
- Day to day demands are eating into any time for bigger picture growth or evolution
- Your energy is low, your creativity depleted, you’re approaching work-zombi status
- You yearn to hit pause and have the space and time to get a fresh perspective
Our remedy: The Sanctuary
- Rejuvenate yourself and reboot your practice in a peaceful countryside retreat space
- We can do the thinking for you, designing an itinerary for work and play that makes the most of the property, the surrounding countryside and the gems in the local town
- Choose facilitated workshop sessions with creative stimulus to guide your wandering, wondering and answer finding. Or choose to structure the time your way
- Cosy accommodation ranges from a self contained cottage for one, up to 9 guests in private rooms or 11 guests with some shared rooms in converted barns
- The Barn is made up of three former farm buildings with four garden areas and an outdoor, unheated pool (open May-Oct). It’s bordered by fields on one side and on the other, a private 17th century residential estate
- Enjoy home cooked meals in an open plan kitchen with aga, sink into deep sofas by the woodburner stove and stretch out in a double height main room that’s a flexible space for work, ping pong and yoga (a local yoga teacher can lead sessions). Self catering also available
- Book quality time with yourself or share it with colleagues and collaborators
- Located 100 miles north of London, the nearest station, Stamford, has hourly connections from Birmingham on the West Coast mainline and Peterborough station on the East Coast mainline
How it works
Booking season April-October inclusive. We can dial our involvment up or down, depending on your needs.
Why say yes
Time to reflect is transformational. For you, for your business. The Barn is a place to step away from the noise. To work in ways that don’t feel like work. To slow down. To connect with others. To get back to yourself, and what really matters.
